CHILOE

X
The archipelago of Chiloe, the biggest island of South America after Tierra del Fuego and the
entrance to Chilean Patagonia, is still one of the cheapest places to buy land in Chile. It’s been awarded third best preserved island in the world by National Geographic and Lonely planet.

Chiloé is still amazingly pure and untouched, and not over commercialized.

A large part of the island is covered with impenetrable forests where there’s an abundance of
native flora and fauna. Keeping the island as it is, virgin and pure, makes you feel like you’re
living between the past and the present. Chiloé can be defined as the perfect balance between spectacular landscapes, where no man has ever set foot, and a culture that preserves the traditions of its ancestors. On top of that, there is an exceptionally authentic style of architecture that includes the use of Wood and other natural elements of the environment. Also Chiloé’s rich mythological culture, which is still preserved by its people, adds to the island’s appeal.

The climate of the island is an important factor that we cannot fail to mention. It has temperate rainy spells with a Mediterranean influence. Thanks to the rain that falls throughout the whole year, the island gives life to all its green splendor and creates a mystic ambience. Summers are mild and this is the time that various outdoor activities are organized.
